Learning to care for others

Each November, our families come together for a food drive benefiting Open Table, a food pantry in Maynard. Families donate non-perishable items, and the children decorate the collection boxes and bags themselves.

When Open Table arrives to pick everything up, the children see firsthand how their kindness reaches neighbors in need, a lesson in generosity that sticks with them far beyond the season.
