Blossom Station cares for children from infancy through Pre-Kindergarten, with dedicated infant, toddler, preschool, and Pre-K programs.
We are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, year round.
We are at 20 Main Street, Acton, MA 01720, convenient to families in Acton, Maynard, Stow, Boxborough, Concord, and Littleton.

We believe children learn through play. Our intentional, play-based curriculum supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in a warm and nurturing environment.
TimberNook is our outdoor learning program. Twice a month, TimberNook staff lead theme-based outdoor activities that build sensory, motor, and social skills on our playground.
Yes. Children enjoy music, movement and exercise, storytelling, science, seasonal events, and community outreach throughout the year.
Yes. Blossom Station Child Care Center is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
Blossom Station has been family owned and run by the same owner since 1999. It is a small center where the same caregivers know your child by name, and when you have a question you reach the owner directly, not a corporate office. Children also enjoy TimberNook outdoor learning and regular enrichment with music and movement specialists.
As a licensed center we follow Massachusetts EEC requirements: at least one teacher for every 3 infants, every 4 toddlers, and every 10 preschoolers. We are happy to walk you through how each classroom is staffed on your tour.
Infant and toddler families receive written daily reports, and we keep an open-door policy, so you are welcome to call or stop in during the day.
Yes. We are open 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, all year.
When school is in session we follow the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District: if the district closes we close, and if it is delayed we open the same amount of time after 7:30am. Closings are posted on WHDH Channel 7. See our Closings and Delays page for school vacation weeks.
Children move into the next program when they are ready, and our teachers help each child make a smooth, easy transition into their new classroom. New families can also arrange transition visits, with or without a parent, before the first day.
Our year includes Back to School Night, the Halloween Parade, the Thanksgiving Giveback food drive for Open Table, a Family Workshop, and the Holiday Song Festival. See our Events page for dates.
